My name is Yumi. I'm a university student, and my major is English Literature. I sometimes join classes for study abroad students and help them with their Japanese. Most of the classes I have joined were for intermediate~advanced students. The class was completely in Japanese, and there were readings for the students to read and comprehend. I was there for them if they were stuck making sentences and if it is hard for them to read the passages. Other times, there were small snack parties and students were allowed to speak only in Japanese. I have lived in the United States for 8 years when I was little, and could not use Japanese as fluently as I am now. What I want to say is that although it is not completely the same, I was in your shoes once, and am able to understand the hardships you are going through now. Japanese is not a easy language to master, but if you take enough time and effort, there is a lot to gain. If you have any requests for the lessons, I am free to accept it! Making mistakes are the first steps to improve your language skills so don't be scared to make them. I will correct them until you get a hang of it.
